  Spoke with A-Lift regarding lifting our steel ridge beams into place on our self build. They organised a site visit where Adam made a plan, everything was checked over including access, ground conditions, lift distance, lift height and lift loads. We had three beams to position one of which was 9.5m long and 300kg and another had a 155 degree kink in it. We only needed a four hour hire, rang late on Thursday and booked for the following Friday. Gary and Evans turned up bang on time (they could have been earlier but we asked if they could hold off till 12). Drove into our difficult drive with no bother and before we knew it, we were lifting. Gary was excellent on the controls, getting our beams into place in an incredibly controlled manner. All stropping was done by them, we just ensured we had scaffold towers at hand to unhook the rigging after use. Had great communication from the team at A-lift throughout the week of our lift and was ensured if things didn’t go to plan they would try and sort it. Machine was smart, clean and seemed well maintained. They made a massive day for my partner and I on our self build incredibly easy and enjoyable.

  A great service once again - we have used A Lift on multiple occasions and once agin it was please to use their services. The latest adventure was ridge beam installation in very tight site location accessed via a narrow lane between occupied premises. Sense would say it was too tight! however with a prompt pre-works site survey from their planning team it was all arranged and went as planned including careful cross-coordination with the steel suppliers. Would recommend more than highly!

  Helpful and efficient in slinging and lifting roof trusses and timbers onto the building within the allocated time. I would have no hesitation in using A-Lift Crane Hire on future projects.

  Recently used this company for a job in Coventry and their service was excellent. From the first survey to the last lift everyone in firm couldn’t help enough. Would definitely use them again and would recommend to anyone who requires a lifting company.
