  I phoned Mendip Memorials to discuss how I should go about choosing a headstone for my Uncle who had recently passed away. I had not done this before. After speaking with Gavin over the phone, he kindly took me through various options without any rush or suggestion of obligation. It was agreed to meet at his premises to be able to see what Mendip Memorials could provide. Gavin took me and my mother (my Uncles Sister) gently through the samples and listened intently to our our thoughts of how the headstone might look. He helped us with suggestions on inscription layout and made us feel really comfortable in what was a nice unhurried environment. Gavin explained that our choice of headstone could take a little longer than normal, however, we felt comfortable with what the result would be and the price quoted. We paid a deposit and once the headstone had been delivered, Gavin kept us up to date via email with messages making sure inscription was correct before actually 'cutting' all the way to placing the stone at the grave. I had actually made a mistake on one of the dates and Gavin sorted out a new inscription cutting template without quibble. Friendly, attentive and communicative with a quality product (for a very good price) as an end result would be how I would describe the service from Mendip Memorials. Thank you for making the process so easy and for delivering and placing a magnificent headstone in my Uncles memory.

  Gavin, helped me all the way to Achieve what I wanted for my family's headstone ,nothing was too much trouble, a true gentleman of his trade ! And a reasonable price too! Would 💯 recommend this company!

  We highly recommend Mendip Memorials. Although we only communicated via email and phone, Gavin understood exactly what we wanted and we were thrilled with the headstone. Communication was always prompt and nothing was too much trouble. 10/10

  Amazed at the job Gavin did restoring my grandparents grave; so much better than I was expecting. Due to COVID I have not yet been able to see the work in person, but from the photos it looks like new. Very reasonable price too.
