  Was booked in to the Genius Bar today, arrived at my allotted time, checked in and was then left waiting for over 20 minutes with no communication. Had to leave as was in my lunch break. Very disappointing.

  I’ve had an amazing experience in Apple Norwich, all the way from getting the same day appointment to having my cracked phone screen fixed within an hour. Erin was amazing at understanding my situation and helping me get everything organised, while Ruby brilliantly handled the process, answered all my questions and was able to calm me down meanwhile. Super grateful to the team for their professionalism and kind and positive attitude!

  My friend bought a £600 phone there yesterday. The first two young employees were great, but the man who was supposed to help her with the data transfer from old to new was awful. Even when he saw she was struggling he didn't step in until she or I asked for help, and when he did help he talked down to my friend like she were an idiot. She's a recently retired nurse, btw, not unintelligent, (not that that should matter) but she just gets anxious when learning about new technology. Since they have no name badges I can only describe this man as tallish, slim, in his 40s or 50s, with short grey hair and a worrying air of condescension and patronising about him which left my friend leaving the shop nearly in tears, stating that he made her feel like 'a stupid old woman.' I was there and I saw it. It was not a crowded, busy time, in fact a lot of the employees had little to do, including him. He was hovering around the table the whole time, yet I found myself trying to help her along with it because even when he saw she was struggling he didn't step in until we asked. What he could have done was help her through it himself, but instead he seemed to like to see her struggle. I hope Mr Condescending reads this and thinks about how he talks to people, even when they are highly anxious, or especially so. She knows things you don't. She saved lives. Don't treat people like dunces just because you have a different knowledge to them.
