  Review draft I recently bought a new iPhone 18 Pro at the Apple Store (Genius Bar) in Norwich, UK, and while the purchase itself went smoothly, the overall service left me quite disappointed. George was helpful with the purchase, but after that I was passed from person to person. I was handed over to Gabriel and had to explain everything again, then she passed me to Arthur and I had to repeat myself once more. Arthur then passed me to someone else, and eventually another colleague. After all that, I was simply told I would have to complete the data transfer at home myself. They were unable to transfer my data onto the new iPhone in-store. When I tried to finish the transfer at home, I kept getting a “data transfer cancelled” message. It’s frustrating that after being passed around multiple times and having to re-explain the situation repeatedly, I still left without a working setup. The in-store experience yesterday felt poorly coordinated and unhelpful. I expected better support for such a significant purchase.

  I'm not that happy! My son's autisticHe's gone without a tablet for a week now.We took it in sunday! We were there first , but we got rugby , tackled by loads of people from the front that pushed past. We have apple care , and we got a new tablet given to us today! I come home to sign in , to say that we're completely locked out. Which means I have to tell him that he's not got no tablet again ! I tried to ring a team and the man seemed a bit short with me. I tried to.Ring norwich and speak to them , but it wouldn't let me! Now I have to wait 24 hours and they've gave the receipt to my son's apple.ID which I can't access because I'm Samsung! And I can't sign in to access , because I don't have any other devices! .So now I have to spend more money going up the city and doing the whole process again! I feel so disheartened and gutted that he's going to come through the door and be upset.It's just ridiculous.

  Visited Friday 24th. Waited ages to be helped then got told off by one of the female staff for not waiting long enough for her to come along. Then she was extremely condescending just because I asked a couple of questions and she treated me like an incompetent Granny! I may be over 60 but I’m actually quite techy. In contrast, the man who helped me transfer my data was extremely helpful and friendly. My friend tried to buy a watch but gave up because nobody came to help him.

  Avoid at all costs!!! Twice bitten now by these totally incompetent people… first time they refused outright to honour a warranty claim on my 2 week old iPhone 17 pro max.. Rang Apple and ended up having to drive to Cambridge where they couldn’t have been more helpful and immediately returned the faulty device crediting it all back to gift cards for me to purchase another one so I didn’t have to wait for refund and return. Yesterday I spent an hour waiting for the IPhone 18 pro max reservation slot I had booked and when in store new phone was brought out fine but then the problems began yet again… the young girl helping with my trade in ran through all of the checks and her photos were of that poor quality it would only offer me £175 not the £750 promised on trade in.. tried this for over 20 minutes and still same issues due to her glare on photos

  Visited the store today to resolve some issues with my charger port, battery and AirPods. Feel I need to leave a review as Jason at the Genius Bar was beyond helpful! Fixed my phone for free, showed me through the settings and was probably the best customer service I’ve received anywhere! Was friendly and talked tech, seemed like he was there for passion rather than work. Thank you Jason!
