  I visited the Three store in Eldon Square, Newcastle, on 13th February 2026 to cancel a broadband contract I had purchased just five days earlier. At the time of purchase, I was clearly told I could cancel within 30 days if I wasn’t satisfied. The broadband was not working properly in my area and would not connect to my Ring doorbell, so I returned to cancel. The sales advisor was polite and started the cancellation process. However, the store manager, Mart**, intervened and refused to cancel it, telling me to call customer service instead. When I explained that I was busy with work, he asked me what time I wake up and suggested I should wake up earlier to call customer service and asked me unnecessary stuff without reason. He must mind his business and what he is doing, not what the customer is doing. This was completely inappropriate and irrelevant. His tone then became aggressive, and he placed the broadband box forcefully on the table in front of me. I felt very bad and degraded by the way I was treated. I contacted customer service myself and was told the physical store should handle the cancellation. When I returned and informed him, he again refused and gave contradictory information. Only after I challenged him and referred to my rights under consumer law then he process the cancellation within approximately 10 minutes. The sales advisor was professional and polite. Unfortunately, the store manager’s behavior was dismissive and confrontational. Very disappointing and a poor experience. Zero star
