  My experience with CeX was disappointing. Before bringing in my PS VR2, I was informed that if there were any scratches on the lenses, the value would simply be reduced. However, when I arrived at the store, I was told that the VR had a scratch and could not be accepted at all. This was frustrating because I was confident the lenses were in good condition and still had protective stickers on them. The process felt inconsistent with the information I was given beforehand. While the staff were polite, the outcome left me dissatisfied and unsure about the assessment process.

  For the second time I have visited this store as I was nearby and I have bought something that simply hasn't worked. This time it was a Nintendo switch game that when inserted only showed unreadable card errors, and apon inspection had tarnish on the contact pins. The previous time I purposely made the journey to get to this store as I saw an item listed as available in store however the item was missing apon arrival.

It’s important to confirm that the product was obtained legally to avoid potential problems later. Stay safe and always double-check before buying.

  Bought an iPhone 17 Pro Max and it got IMEI blocked a month later. Only solution offered: Bring the phone to the store. The problem: I'm no longer in the UK and, even though I would love to visit, I have no plans to do so in the foreseeable future. CeX sells stolen and fraudulent products, beware.
