Crowe humble wesencroft represented me for two cases that were interconnected to wider NHS Disputes & Complaints processes, the criminal aspects arose directly from these. There was a number of conflicts of interests present due to complaints being related to primary care & also an nhs trust, one executive director of the nhs trust also advises courts & solictors & police in his dual roles, another nhs senior figure is both a GP and also a director, another GP also has a family member who is a kings counsel barrister. Both GP’s who i had complaints towards themselfs and where named on civil legal documents submitted special measures requests in to courts, a GP/Director and another younger GP, Mark who dealth with the pre trial stage court appearences simply didnt inform his client of the fact one GP had submitted special measures requests in to the court ( a total failure to advise his client correctly on the prosecutions attempts to shield those who had provided witness statements against) these witness statements now found to be both dishonest and contain numerous omissions, the GMC regulatory body now confirms certain aspects of wider complaints, and the GP was also un-indemnified for private nhs work.mark simpy didnt want to addres this when i directly asked him about at court simply stating “ i dont remember “ …he remembers allright!!! the first GP put his request in rather early at newcast crown court - in the first case which orginated as i was in disputes with GP’s and dealing with their own solicitor in wider civil issues. Ben represented me for the first case and no sooner than 10 minutes before entering court they removed representation and left me alone to try defend against the charges brought against me. Another strange aspect of these matters is the fact while seeking proper representation after a breakdown in relationship crowehumbles representation was left on court systems further preventing myself from obtaining any legal help. The charges of harassment brought againsr me were based on emails sent to a GP surgery while i was involved in nhs disputes, indemnity solictors were involved, i had asked for ADR and had waa effecrively doing legitimate acts, the witness statements provided to northumbria police contained numerous dishonest claims, omitted indemnity involvement and laid it on thick, it waa case built on absolutely nothing but ‘emails’ Two cases and i was effecfivelt thrown to the wolves with crowe humble wesencroft well aware of the various conflicts of interests, good & proper decent defence solictors would of have had both cases well under control. Iinstead they failed on both counts, removed representation for one and the other they barely informed there client of much, an important aspect of the prosecution attempts at shielding a GP from cross examination in weak case, why would a defence solictor not inform their own client of the other sides special measures requests ? In the end i was prosecuted through courts with no trial, numerous administration issues and a number of procedural irregularaties, convicted in my absence for sending emails while being involved in nhs disputes. The Whole system come together for the protection of other people. Rather than a defence who challanged northumbria’s polices own omissions regarding evidence (CPS Disclosure ) aswell as challange northumbria’s police attenpts to effecfively criminalise lawfull activity they actually made issues worse, & allowed the prosecution & courts to advance a case that was weak on all fronts (evidence & legality) In hindsight it was total mess and a client was’nt represented fairly and the conflicts of intersts & vested interests ultimately decuded how issues played out, i was merely the man in the middle.

In 2025 an elderly member of our family was subjected to a criminal damage scam which in our opinion was supported and believed to be true by 2 inconsiderate and uncaring members of Northumbria Police. We engaged with CHW who reviewed the (non existant) evidence and liaised on our behalf with the CPS who subsequently dropped all charges. CHW also applied and successfully obtained Defendants Cost Orders from the CPS. We would recommend CHW 100 percent.
