  joke of a place. any time i visit this particular cex i spend more time waiting to be served than i actually spend browsing the films. staff will look at you and know you have been waiting a excessive amount of time and act like their are busy when in reality they are doing the bare minimum. cex needs to implement a buy and sell queuing system again because if someone is selling you could be waiting a life time to buy what you are buying. close this place down or get staff that actually what to do their job. buying online would take less time and effort than waiting in this branch to be served. horrific

  Really helpful staff for exchanging games and console. Make sure you check on the website what i.d. you need to bring if you're exchanging!

  Brilliant customer service from this CEX store. I went in looking for something very specific – a charging plug and cable for a karaoke machine. It wasn't even an item sold by CEX, but the lady behind the counter went above and beyond to help me. She spent several minutes searching through equipment in the back, and when she couldn't find what I needed there, she continued searching through boxes at the front of the store. She never seemed frustrated or rushed and kept a smile on her face throughout. Eventually, she found exactly what I was looking for and gave me a very fair price. The level of effort she put in for what was probably a small sale was genuinely impressive. Unfortunately, I'm terrible with names, so I can't give her the credit she deserves personally. The main thing I remember is that she was wearing a Nottingham Panthers ice hockey shirt. Even as a Sheffield Steelers fan, I have to say she was absolutely fantastic! Most importantly, because of her help, my 8-year-old niece was able to use her karaoke machine while we were on holiday in Scotland, which completely made her day. A huge thank you to the store and especially to that member of staff. Outstanding customer service and a credit to CEX. 10/10.
