  Extremely disappointing experience at Apple Manchester Arndale. I went in for a booked appointment because my iPhone battery was overheating, draining really quickly and switching itself off. Unfortunately, instead of feeling helped, I found the member of staff I dealt with dismissive, condescending and patronising. The communication was poor and I felt really belittled by the way I was treated. It completely spoiled my day, and I ended up leaving without getting my battery replaced. I later spoke to Apple Support on the phone and the difference was huge. The adviser was very kind, patient and understanding. He took the time to listen to me, ran diagnostics on my phone and confirmed that the battery had failed and needs replacing, which was exactly why I had gone into the store in the first place. I’ve been an Apple customer for nearly 20 years and I’ve never experienced service like this before. I’ve made a formal complaint about what happened. I will never come back to this store again! Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it.

  Debbie is a real find! She shortened two summer dresses for me and was really pleased with her work. Lovely lady. Would highly recommend!

  Would not recommend visiting this store. Felt like a meet up place for teenagers, security not doing anything about people charging their phones. So much staff but majority engaged in their own talks. After 10 minutes finally got someone’s attention. Avoid!

  Shopped here a couple times bought a few devices and accessories usually a good experience, came in today to check the warranty on my case as after a short amount of time of having the case the silicone had started to peel, the technician Brendan inspected my phone during the inspection he flexed my phone case and broke the silicone over the charging port. I was then told that my phone case wasn’t in warranty because of the fractures. Brendan went to speak to his manager who could only offer me a 5% discount on the purchase of a new phone case. Comical.

  I visited the Apple Store on Sunday 19/07/26 between approximately 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm with my friend to buy an iPhone plug and cable. After we asked for the items, the sales assistant picked them up for us. I was a little hesitant about buying them and said, "Just cancel it," but my friend encouraged me to go ahead with the purchase. The sales assistant immediately responded, "Guys, I'm getting a headache. Are we getting this or not?" I was genuinely shocked by how rude and impatient this comment was. As customers, we should be able to take a moment to decide without being made to feel like we're an inconvenience. We still completed the purchase and left the store, but the interaction left a very negative impression. This is not the level of customer service I would expect from Apple. Staff should be professional, patient, and respectful at all times. The employee was a tall blond man wearing glasses, and this happened on Sunday 19/07/26between approximately 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm. I hope Apple reviews this incident and reminds its staff that customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect.
