  Visited the Bury branch today to trade in 8 mobile phones. The lad behind the counter was great and I’ve got zero complaints about him at all, really helpful, friendly, and sorted my order out with no issues. This review isn't a reflection on him at all, as he handled everything brilliantly. Unfortunately, the experience was totally let down by who I can only assume was the manager. Her body language instantly gave off like I’d completely ruined her day just by showing up. The moment she realised what I was trading in, the whole atmosphere became really uneasy, and the way the situation was handled honestly made me feel like a criminal. For context, I picked the phones up from a closing down sale and was fully aware that a bulk trade-in might mean a bit of a price adjustment, which is fair enough. Most of the devices were basically brand new and still boxed up. A couple of the boxes had minor damage, which they claimed knocked the handsets down to Grade B. I think that’s a bit unreasonable considering CeX don’t even sell phones in their original boxes anyway, so box condition has zero impact on the actual handset. The counter staff were great, but the overall atmosphere and the way management handled the situation left a lot to be desired. Won’t be returning to the Bury branch. 1/10

  Why do you put bury , Greater Manchester in your adress ? Yet for your Manchester, bolton , Oldham , middleton stores you put Lancashire? Bury is no different !!
