  Diagnosed later in life; no NHS provision for treatment available - I researched treatment options. I chose Dr Mohiuddin initially as he has duel NHS and private experience; I anticipated plugging back into the NHS eventually (I do not have private medical insurance). Best decision I’ve made in recent living memory. I was wary of the diagnosis I had received prior to contacting Dr Mohiuddin, considering it to be over-medicalisation. I was also interested to approach treatment options with an open mind. Dr Mohiuddin helped me do just that. He explained the theory behind the diagnosis, potential next steps/the process, anticipated benefits/risks/likely implications - all in the context of the life I am living, my priorities. Over the next months he followed-up with careful monitoring; we worked together to figure out what works for me. I received tangible, practical advice, suggestions and support as needed. I never once felt like I was at the vet being up-sold things I don’t need or treated according to text book (unlike previous private veterinary and medical experience). Interestingly, I learnt a lot along the way about the sort of doctor I want to be (I’m currently a medical student). Dr Mohiuddin: Listened; Synthesised technical knowledge and applied it to the person in front of him; Has humanity intact; without tilty-headed saccharine ruinous empathy in play; Never told me what I wanted to hear for customer service points; Helped me help myself. I have now finished the first year of my Graduate medical degree. The volume of information to take in, synthesise, network and begin to apply was huge. Thanks to Dr Mohiuddin I was able to ski that avalanche - and loved it. Without his input, I’d likely have skied into quite a few trees.

  I had such a positive experience with Dr Iqbal throughout my ADHD assessment, diagnosis and treatment process. I was extremely nervous going into my first assessment, but he immediately made me feel calm and reassured. He is warm, friendly, welcoming and very easy to talk to, which made the whole process feel much less overwhelming. I have felt listened to, understood and supported at every stage. I'm incredibly grateful for the care and reassurance he has provided, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ADHD assessment.

  As soon as we met Dr Mohiuddin my mind was put at rest. He understood my son straight away and took the time to listen. He is very calm and very knowledgeable. The team behind him is also very kind and professional! Thank you!

  Dr. Iqbal and Pam were incredibly helpful from start to finish in the titration process, handling repeat prescription requests, and handing over the prescription via SCA to my local GP.
