  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service from Ian at Clarity Mortgages We first came across Ian back in March 2025 through one of his TikTok Lives, where he was inviting people to share their situations and talk through what they were looking to borrow. We submitted ours, and he suggested having a chat. We had an hour-long Teams call where he explored some options for us, but unfortunately at that time it just wasn’t the right moment for us to proceed. Fast forward to November, we decided to try again. We reached out to two other advisors — one simply told us not to bother, and the other… to say the experience was poor is an understatement. It took 2–3 weeks just to attempt getting a decision in principle. Communication was awful — we were placed in a WhatsApp group with four people, regularly left on read for days, and constantly chasing updates. In the end, the option they came back with required triple the deposit we actually had. At that point, we knew we needed to look elsewhere — and immediately thought of Ian. We reached back out and booked another Teams call for a full fact find. From that first appointment to getting a Decision in Principle took under 48 hours — a complete contrast to our previous experience. We believe this is because Ian is a whole-of-market advisor, meaning he can access a wide range of lenders rather than being restricted to just a few. From there, we were able to properly begin house hunting — and Ian didn’t slow down at any point. He was in contact with us almost daily, guiding us through everything. He didn’t just act as a mortgage advisor — he was like an estate agent and a general property expert rolled into one. Honestly, we would have been completely lost without him. Ian also recommended solicitors (Gorvins Residential LLP), which made the process even smoother. But what really stood out was how much he went above and beyond. He helped us review life insurance and income protection — we had already found quotes for my partner around £40–£50 per month, and within a day Ian secured better cover for just £27 per month. When it came to my own situation, I already had cover through work. Instead of pushing for a sale, Ian reviewed my policy and actually advised that it was already a strong level of cover. That honesty really stood out — he could easily have tried to upsell, but instead he built trust by being completely transparent. Even when he went on holiday during the process, Ian made sure to catch up with us before and after, ensuring everything stayed on track. I honestly don’t think we ever waited more than an hour for a response — even late in the evening when we were anxious, he was there to reassure us. We exchanged last week and are due to complete next week — something that honestly wouldn’t have happened without Ian. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you’re thinking about buying but don’t know where to start, Ian at Clarity Mortgages is the person you need.

  Ian has been a great help in securing a rate for my Help To Buy remortgage, at a time when things are somewhat up in the air with mortgages! Ian is very responsive, and always provided thorough responses to any queries I had during the process.   I had a great experience working with Ian from start to finish. He made the whole mortgage process really straightforward and took the time to explain everything clearly. Communication was excellent throughout. Always quick to respond and kept me updated at every stage. What really stood out was how proactive he was in securing a good deal at the right time, which ended up working in my favour given how much rates have changed recently.
