- JDjuan defMar 31, 20261.0Visited the Three store to collect a Pay As You Go SIM. I presented my Professional ID, which was declined, and was then asked for a passport or driver’s licence. I went to my vehicle to retrieve my driver’s licence, yet even after showing it, the staff refused to release the SIM, claiming they needed to retain my ID for proof of release. I was not comfortable with them scanning or keeping a copy of my licence. During this, a member of Vodafone staff—completely unrelated to my visit—interjected. I found the whole exchange strange and uncomfortable. While I understand Three and Vodafone share network coverage, I did not expect them to share staff or involve outside personnel in-store. Overall, the Three staff seemed unable to handle the situation independently. I did not want to deal with Vodafone while in a Three store. The experience felt unprofessional and awkward. In the end, I ordered the SIM via the Three website and had it delivered to my office instead
