Simply outstanding, let's start with the people working there. Polite, engaging, helpful, and cheerful a delight. The food matched the service with great presentation and mouth watering sensual experiences. The venue with 400 odd years of an old London mix with a cozy vibe. Tucked away but within a two minute walk from the underground station. I shall return.

An outstanding pub, especially for food. The chef is obviously extremely talented and the staff are always amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try the Beef Wellington.

Holy moly the beef Wellington is insanely good. Some of the best meat you can put in your mouth this side of Soho. If you like food then you should probably go here as they have it and it's pretty bloody good. Trust me, I know. Or don't. You do you boo boo. Shout out to that marrow too. Really really really yummo.

We have been traveling to England regularly since February of 2000. We love the pub culture and real cask ale. The Ship has recently become become a regular destination and we wish now it always had been. The dark wood panelling creates a nice cozy aatmosphere inviting you to want to stay just a little bit longer. The food is excellent, my favorites being the ribs and chunky hand cut chips. The real ales are solid and regularly include offerings from St. Austell's, Theakston, Wye Valley, and Otter. A house ale rounds it out. The staff puts the icing on the cake. Everyone is wonderful, friendly, very welcoming and efficient. I must however give extra recognition to Cerys. She epitomizes all I have mentioned above and is also the sweetist, nicest, and one of the prettiest young ladies in all of England. Thanks to all at the Ship and we hope to see you next year.
