  Sent off my sons PS5 as it was overheating and the hdmi port was loose. Although we had to wait 3 weeks which was frustrating for my son, we were kept in the loop of what was happening the whole time and were able to track the repair and what stage it was at the whole time. So far so good and he’s gaming away and really happy

  Website said 7 day turnaround, Kilburn said that was if you paid postage but at the store it was 14 days. I feel that could be clearer on the website that post is faster than store drop off. I got an email saying repair was complete, then another email said there was a hold up. I was on holiday by then. I emailed on return and got a response at 9.01 the following morning saying it was indeed at the shop. So the automated comms seemed a tiny bit wonky on my repair, but the store staff are really nice, the repair is good and I think the price is too. I will happily use them next time.

  I used them to repair my PS2 that was having issues reading discs; good service, and affordable pricing. However, one negative is that I was meant to receive a text (and probably an email) notifying me when my local CeX received it back, as it was only because I called TechCentre asking for an update, that they told me it was delivered back a number of days before the call, I remember the female member of customer service staff jokingly said, "You're going to be mad at me", before letting me know when it came back, haha! Not to worry, I wasn't mad at all, just slightly disappointed! Tip: If sending your product via a CeX shop, like I did, ask them what day they'll send it, as my local CeX sends them once a week, also ask for an eta to the repair and overall eta back to the shop; and if you're ever concerned because you haven't received any notifications via text and/or email during the process, just call TechCentre up with any details you may need like your order/repair code.
