  We used our local Mears to take care of my brother and his private, simple cremation. Paulette was lovely and really helped with the arrangements, everything was carried out professionally and with sympathetic ear. Thank you

  Steven Mears is the least bit interested in providing a good service. As a funeral home his sole focus towards customers should be compassion which he didn’t feel like showing any towards my family. The way he spoke to my family and his actions has left me mortified. You should be ashamed.

  My experience with Mears was entirely positive. The funeral planning was sensitive and efficient and on the day everything was done properly and respectfully.

  I'm immensely grateful to Mears for the fantastic service they have provided at this very difficult moment for us. Everyone were respectful, patient, sensitive and considerate throughout the whole time and not once did they make us feel troubled or worried, or feel like we're dealing with a business. Special thanks to Samantha Gibson (Walthamstow Branch) for the smooth running of the funeral service, to Steve for making sure that everything went well on the day, and to Patrizia and Sharon for their guidance and support with the repatriation. I could not have asked for a better service and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
