  Strawberries and Cream, Salt and Pepper, Bacon and Eggs, Harrisons and Funerals. To say that this family run establishment goes above and beyond is an understatement. Having recently lost my dear, elderly father, myself and my family were very distraught. After a visit to Harrisons of Highgate, I felt we had made the right choice. From the initial meeting, right through to the day of the service and cremation, the whole event was handled with warmth, friendliness and professional courtesy. I speak truly from the heart when I say, my late father, and our family were treated with the upmost respect, compassion and empathy, from start to finish and beyond. Thank you to Charlotte, Katya, and all the family who were involved. Big up to Max, who even in the face of extreme provocation on the day of the service, handled himself with dignity and class. On behalf of myself, and my family, we thank you for all you done for our late father, Basil, and us. You truly deserve all the plaudits you receive.   From the very first phone call, Charlotte at Harrisons Funeral Directors was absolutely exceptional. This was the first funeral I’ve ever had to arrange, so naturally I had a lot of questions and didn’t really know where to begin. Charlotte immediately put me at ease. She patiently guided me through the entire process step by step, explaining everything clearly and making sure I understood the options available and the arrangements that needed to be made. She was always open and transparent about the process and the costs involved, and she approached every conversation with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. At no point did anything feel like too much trouble for her, even when I had several questions along the way. When we visited my stepdad, Charlotte had taken great care to prepare everything in a calm and respectful way. She had lit candles and created a peaceful atmosphere which meant a great deal to both my mum and me. She made sure my stepdad was dressed and presented with dignity and respect, and she gave us the time and space we needed while also being there to gently support us if we needed anything. Those thoughtful touches made what could have been an incredibly difficult moment feel much more peaceful and meaningful. Throughout the whole process Charlotte handled all of the arrangements on our behalf. She liaised with the church, coordinated with the cemetery, and worked with the wider funeral team to make sure everything was organised properly. She kept me regularly updated with calls and messages so I always knew what was happening next. One thing I particularly appreciated was how professional she was with communication, she made sure everything came through me first before passing information on elsewhere, which made the whole process feel very organised and respectful for our family. In the days leading up to the funeral she ensured every detail was taken care of. On the day itself everything was beautifully presented. The flowers arrived and were placed thoughtfully around the coffin and service area, the vehicles were immaculate, and the whole team carried themselves with quiet professionalism and respect throughout the entire day. It was clear that a great deal of care had gone into making sure everything looked dignified and appropriate. Max was also fantastic on the day of the funeral. He calmly guided us through each part of the service and made sure everything ran smoothly. As we were including traditional Greek elements within the service, Max helped coordinate these respectfully and worked closely with the church so everything happened at the right time and in the right way. He acted as a reassuring presence and a bridge between our family and the church, making sure we were always aware of what would happen next without the day ever feeling rushed. I had spoken to a couple of funeral directors before choosing Harrisons, and I’m incredibly grateful that we decided to go with them. The care, compassion, organisation, and professionalism shown by Charlotte, Max, and the entire team was outstanding from start to finish. During such a difficult time for our family they made the whole process feel supported, dignified, and respectful. Thank you so much to Charlotte, Max, and everyone at Harrisons Funeral Directors for helping us give my stepdad such a special and dignified farewell. We will always be grateful for the kindness, care, and professionalism you showed us.

  Amazing customer service by Charlotte, clearly explained everything, gave us all the choices we needed, was in constant contact and made an extra effort with our requests, max and the team were super respectful, and made sure my mums send off was as we wanted, would highly recommend
