  Great taste for the wine and dine in the evening. Food was excellent and the service was very nice too.

  Had a lovely time for afternoon tea :) loved the chili garlic paneer and prawn toast! Sandwiches were lovely as well.

  For such a highly rated restaurant, the food was very, very mediocre, if that. Food suited to western palates, not authentic indo Chinese at all!! I had hair in one of my food items, and all I received for it was an apology and a replacement after waiting nearly 15 minutes and displacing the meal for the rest of the group. Exorbitantly Priced. Would avoid.

  Afternoon tea. This was disappointing. Prawn toast was good as were the samoasas and chutneys. However the cakes and scones were the driest I’ve ever tried to eat (I managed one and a half before it almost made my throat clog up) and not to be recommended. The jam was more of a red jelly than a jam. Sandwiches were nice enough but the chicken sandwiches all tasted quite similar, and all sandwiches had a cheese slice which didnt seem neccessary. I’ve a feeling that this place is actually a very good restaurant but it did feel like whoever prepared the afternoon tea never tried the cakes and scones themselves.
