  I blindly trusted a staff member here with my iPhone passcode and my iCloud and PayPal have since been hacked. I was also initially quoted almost £300 for goods (in person) I brought in to trade in. On the next day I came to do the swap, I was told the items were "not working", and the same person denied having quoted me. completely inaccurate, as I'd been using them right up until then. The quote was then slashed to £80, at which point I couldn't be bothered to decline, so I went ahead and traded for a device, paying £400+, which turned out to be faulty. It was clearly already an issue while the staff member was packaging it up, as he said, "if this continues, just come back." By this point I'd been in the shop for over three hours, in a heatwave, and just wanted to get out. I've now discovered my PayPal had been accessed on a new device (a model I've never owned) after trusting a staff member with unsupervised access to my phone and passcode. I will not be returning to this branch and am reporting this.

  Be extremely careful selling items at the Dalston Hackney branch. Staff rushed me through a transaction by distracting me with my new purchases, hiding the fact that they downgraded my items behind my back. Furthermore, they lost my DJI Mini 2 outer sleeve during testing and then financially penalized me for the 'missing' item. When asked for evidence, rhey had just shared inage of the battery slot. Customer service refused to investigate and tried to buy my silence with a £10 voucher. Check every single line of your receipt before signing, because they will use it against you.

  This is my local store and they’ve always been nice and friendly when helping me, whether it’s about which device is best for which video game or providing cables and USBs for me.

  Staff have very odd rules at this store. Won't buy a 4K steelbook if no J-Card and say its CEX policy. But I just received a steelbook from CEX online and it had no J-Card. Staff way over the top on grading when something was clearly A-Grade and was fine as like-new sold elsewhere.
