  I bought a quest 3 for a very cheap price grade c but the controllers has a pairing problem so I will change the controllers

  Every now and then you find a few hidden gems. In the past, I bought PCs and phones there. Never had any problems.

  Not a good experience today. So on Thursday I took in a camera and was quoted £82, reduced to £72 because I didn't have charger, booked in for testing, I came back to collect the money but they said £56. I declined and walked away, today I went back with the charger, booked in for testing (1 hour even though the store was empty and 3x staff members) I waited about for an hour, went back and now miraculously it's failed testing even though it passed 3 days ago. Feel like they are messing me around. I am probably CEXs goldmine customer, I never trade in for credit, I sell at lower prices and buy nearly always from them. Meaning the make more out of me than someone who trades up with vouchers. The camera works, I was using it on the morning of the first time it passed the test. I have the sticker from the first test. Well edit this review if I get a positive outcome tomorrow.

  My international credit card that I used everywhere in London, was refused here. The staff seems to be afraid of their manager so they didn’t even tried, although they said “technically” I could use my card. I had to find myself an alternative payment method. Overall, an unpleasant shopping experience.

  What I experienced today was absolutely intolerable and disgraceful. It is rare to encounter such an extreme level of disrespect, arrogance, and incompetence in one place. The staff’s behavior was not merely unprofessional — it was deeply insulting and demeaning. They seem to lack even the most basic understanding of courtesy, respect, and responsibility. I used to be a regular customer, but the way I was treated today (02/24/2026) completely destroyed any trust or willingness I had to ever return. Their tone, attitude, and manner of speaking were shockingly rude and far beneath the standard of any respectable business. Frankly, it is appalling that individuals with such behavior represent this establishment. If you value your dignity, peace of mind, and self-respect, I strongly advise you to stay far away. No one should subject themselves to such disgraceful and indefensible treatment.
