Booked in for a simple dead pixel repair on 13 July and it's taken four separate visits over two weeks, with no resolution yet. Every visit involved a 15-20+ minute wait past my scheduled time. Information changed at every stage: first told the repair would take a couple of hours, then 72 hours, then told the screen repair had failed and a full replacement iPad would be needed "early the following week" - a date that also passed. I was told in person a replacement had been ordered, but the only email I received simply said "repair complete," with no written confirmation of any replacement. Poor communication and no accountability for wasted time across the whole process.

I visited Apple Store in Stratford to have my screen protector replaced. I dealt with a lovely gentleman named John, who was exceptionally kind, polite, friendly and very helpful indeed. John has put a lot of effort and time to replace my screen, which turned out to be a tricky job. He did an absolutely fantastic and brilliant job, and I am so very grateful to him. Thank you John, Apple is very lucky to have you as an employee! 🙏

I have lost my phone one week ago. I went desperately to this store to get a new phone and understand what to do. Shout out to Ricky who has been fantastic, a life saver! He kindly and calmly guided me and explained me the various steps. He has been very understanding and supportive. Definitely the best Apple employee! I will definitely go back to him for any support.

I came in today for mic failure. Refused repair on water damage alleging logic board damage which affected microphone. Said surprised powers on. But laptop had never come into contact with any liquid until 40 minutes previous where I had tried cleaning it and water had gotten in. I asked Genius tech if he could please record his suspicion re the logic board damage and he became unnecessarily aggressive and accused me of trying to get him to lie. I said that's what you just told me. He said I don't know that, I haven't done a repair on it. But i said you told me you thought that - can you say this so I can explain it for a return. He then said "No - we're not doing YOUR truth, we're doing APPLE'S truth - stupid hair!". I couldn't quite believe he said that (I do admittedly need a haircut) and I replied politely that that it's not about my truth, it's just about having a return explanation for my card provider and the receipt merely says "liquid damage" but not what you said to me. He interreupted me and shouted "DON'T PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH! I'll go get my manager and she can deal with you" and he got up and swore at me repeatedly, I can't give the wording on a google review, but it was very extreme abuse - f word, b word etc. An older customer opposite me overheard this and made eye contact with me with his mouth ajar and looked appalled, and i gave him a surprised look back.
The manager turned up and was very very very defensive from the outset - I could see he had given her a partial download. I tried to keep it as professional as possible and concentrate on the amend of the receipt, not the abuse as that would take things sideways with excuses and explanations, and she appeared to again be defensive to limit Apple's liability. She argued with me for about 5-10 minutes that she wouldn't amend it, but then had the receipt amended but not to what I asked. I also noted the first receipt had said wrongly the laptop was out of warranty and the second said it was in warranty correctly. And she replied "I don't understand your point". I said the accuracy would matter to external parties. She replied "OK, it's right now, so what do you want". I thanked her for her time and left the store. I then called up Apple and complained with respect of the technician's verbal abuse.
I am very surprised at this. Firstly Apple is well-known for good customer service. I've had only good experiences for years at the Oxford Circus branch. I was very shocked at what happened today and it was entirely errant of the years of interactions with Apple. Even indeed calling up to complain about the in-store experience was fine - the Apple respondent on the phone was pleasant, courteous, listened to me, very respectful. I don't think I've ever had in any context swear at me in the ordinary course of business before.
I think his name was "Raoul" or something equivalent. My message to the Stratford branch: these are only "things". It doesn't matter that much. Honestly i don't particularly care about the product, I have 3 other working laptops with me and the present one works fine (it's also covered by a return). I don't like to be insulted or deal with disrespect and foul language.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Apple Store Stratford regarding my AirPods (4th Generation) purchased for £159 with AppleCare+.
My AirPods developed a fault within 30 days of purchase — they kept disconnecting from my iPhone 15. Since then, I have visited Apple multiple times and spent hours trying to get this resolved.
My left AirPod was replaced first, but the issue continued. I then attended further appointments where I was told different things depending on who I spoke to. Apple Westminster advised that replacing the whole product would be the right solution, but at Apple Stratford I was told that only individual part replacements were possible.
This has been extremely frustrating. I have now had both the left and right AirPods replaced, yet the same issue continues. After the latest replacement, the AirPods disconnected again within hours.
I understand appointments are important, but I do not understand the purpose of having AppleCare+ and repeatedly booking appointments if every visit results in another temporary part replacement without solving the actual problem. When I came without an appointment, I was told I needed one. When I came with appointments multiple times, I was told part replacement was the only option.
I was even told by a technician that I could “come 100 times and we will fix it for you,” but that is not a solution. I do not want to keep spending my time visiting the store for the same unresolved issue.
The most frustrating part is the lack of ownership. Apple says the product was purchased from John Lewis, but this is still an Apple product, supported by Apple, and I expected Apple to help find a proper resolution. There was no clear escalation process, no email contact for a proper complaint, and no one willing to take responsibility.
I have been to Apple Store Stratford multiple times and still do not have a reliable working product. I expected much better customer service and support from Apple
