I went into the store yesterday to purchase a new phone, all ready to go
when I memeber of staff spoke with me, they had me scan a qr code and when it wasn't loading he then said he was going to find a colleague to help
I then watched him walk around the store for 10 minutesdoing nothing, I went to another member of staff who said he was just "checking people in" and it would be 20 minutes till I could be seen
When i explained what his colleague had done he just shrugged it off and mentioned again it would be 20 minutes. The same member of staff was stood within 5 meters of us, again, doing nothing

Booked an appointment for 11:45, arrived at 12:00, and it was cancelled as a late show — fair enough, that one’s on me. I rebooked for 14:55 and arrived on time. It’s now 15:15 and I’m still sitting exactly where staff told me to wait, with several Geniuses walking past and nobody checking in. Twenty minutes and no acknowledgement, no ETA, no explanation. If arriving on time earns the same wait as arriving late, what’s the point of the appointment system? The issue isn’t the delay itself — it’s that nobody communicates.

Had an appointment today at the Genius Bar, there was one gentleman downstairs directing people, I checked with him and he confirmed there’s one person. A central London Apple Store around noon on a Saturday with one guy directing and checking people in… So after waiting 10minutes I was directed to go upstairs. Checked in ahead of time for my appointment. My appointment time overrun so far with 30mins. The gentleman checking me in could not be bothered to tell me that I might have to wait. I confronted him. He was apologetic. I like Apple products but the service at the Covent Garden store is not great. I recommend the one on Knightsbridge. The few times I was there they were much quicker and able to manage expectations

Booked an appointment to get my phone battery replaced and I had the best experience with Tony - my appointment was at 3:25pm, Tony told me my phone would be ready for 4:50pm and to ask a member of staff at that time. I asked someone and was told it was pushed back to 6:30pm and they would find out why for me. They didn’t come back for a while and I saw Tony again, explained, and he went to check himself. I waited a little longer and got my phone back just before 5:30pm, and Tony explained that my phone display had cracked during the process which caused the delay, so he went ahead and fixed it himself. It’s just so nice to see customer service staff caring about their customers’ time and going above and beyond to problem solve and help. I don’t even mind the delay as I was treated so well throughout my appointment here by Tony - thank you so so much!!

They weren't bothered to help us at all even though we spent a whole day travelling to and from London. The shop staff booked us a call with apple support and sent us back home. The online support did not help us at all, and tried to send us back to the shop. We were left on hold on multiple occations so that the online support could check what he needed to do. In the end he called his manager who kept repeating information we already knew and refused to sort out the issue and hung up the phon when we requested to speak to another person. We are thoroughly displeased of this service and it was such a waste of time. Dont buy an apple ipad for your child unless you have other apple devices or you are planning to buy more. You will be left in a loop.
