    ⭐ 1 Star Absolutely shocking customer service at Apple Battersea. When I bought a screen protector, I was specifically told that if it cracked, I could simply come back to the store for a free replacement. Today, when I returned with a cracked protector, I was told that Apple had nothing to do with replacements and that I needed to make a warranty claim with Belkin online. The problem isn’t the process, but the fact that Apple staff gave me completely different information when they sold me the product. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, both the staff member and the store manager repeatedly suggested that I just buy a new screen protector if I was in a hurry. So the solution to being misled is apparently to spend more money? When I asked for help registering the warranty claim online, the store manager (Harry/Henry) said he had never done it himself and refused to show me how. No accountability, no effort to help, and a very condescending attitude throughout. I expect much better from Apple. This experience felt misleading, unhelpful, and completely at odds with the premium customer service the brand claims to provide. Just be mindful when you try to purchase anything from that store.

    Really impressed by the customer experience here. I came in to get my battery replaced. All the staff are really on it, helpful, communicative and super knowledgeable. I do wish the website was more clear about same-day battery service options - it just says “may be available”. I travelled to this store hoping it’d be same day, but had to come back the next day to collect my phone because the service queue was so long.

    Initially went into the Apple Store Battersea to flag that my airport buds had begun ripping apart after having brought them only in October. I use them regularly but don’t expect the damage after such a short term with normal use. I was told it was £9 to replace them despite the product clearly being of insufficient standard of quality and still under warranty. I was then advised I would need to speak to a genius but there was no availability for 5 days, despite the appointment only needing to take 10 minutes. I returned 5 days later for the so-called genius to not even inspect the airbuds but simply say they’d “never seen this before” and that it’s normal/to be expected that these buds will break and need to be replaced on a circa 6 month basis. Frustrated that I was advised to wait 5 days for a genius to make no real effort to assess the product or listen to my explanation, I asked them the price and availability of the buds. They said they had none in stock so it would be another 3-5 days for delivery. Two trips to their store following their advise and process and still no solution. Wasn’t prepared to wait an aggregate of 10 days for a simple ask. Store assistants were incredibly unhelpful, inflexible and quite frankly rude. Apple has become a bloated company that no longer respect their customers or good service or quality products. I will certainly be considering there substandard customer service next time I invest into tech.
