Disappointing and unprofessional experience I had a really disappointing experience with this company when their staff came to collect my sofa. I greeted the two men twice and was completely ignored. I then tried to explain that there may have been some miscommunication, but the response was dismissive, with one of them simply asking whether I wanted the sofa gone or not. What shocked me most was that my 12-year-old son also said hello and was completely ignored. Basic courtesy and communication should be the minimum when dealing with customers. The whole experience was unpleasant and unprofessional. I even said “see you later” to the same member of staff as they left and was ignored again. His demeanor came across as intimidating, hostile, and unwelcoming. I chose not to challenge his behaviour at the time, as I didn’t feel it was worth escalating the situation. However, I felt it was important to share my experience because staff behaviour like this can negatively affect a company’s reputation and customer experience. Very disappointing and not the level of service I expected.

We recently used A1 Moves to help with our family’s house move, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The removal team were absolutely excellent — professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They handled a huge volume of belongings with real care and attention, including a large collection of plants that were clearly moved thoughtfully and safely. We were also moving into a new build, and the team were so respectful — taking extra care to protect the floors, walls, and doors throughout. Their attention to detail and pride in their work really showed. Everything was organised, smooth, and well-coordinated from start to finish. What could have been a stressful day ended up being straightforward and calm thanks to their effort and professionalism. If you’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and considerate removals company, A1 Moves is a fantastic choice.
