I looked quite a bit for a bike shop that would
A. Not charge main stealer prices (yes I know they have high overheads, I get that but still …..)
B. Do a good job
And I found a place that treble ticked both those boxes and more. Jap and German motorcycles, fronted up by Steve, really know their stuff. I took in a K1300s which I have only had a short while, for a general health check and service plus tyres (both were very old and very worn). The boys found that both front and rear suspension were shot (wondered why the ride was like concrete. Front wheel bearing also needed replacing and the exhaust valve stuck shut as well. I took it home after its life saving surgery and, if I don’t know better, I would have thought they had given me a new bike. The ride was now supple and and concrete, the pick up tremendous and the price - well let’s put it this way, it was cheaper than many valve services I have seen and I got two new tyres as well. On top of all that, they are really easy guys to talk too, keep you informed of the progress and get my vote to run the country, not to mind fix bikes. Cheers chaps. (PS, they even washed it)
