I honestly would NOT recommend Acres Property Development based on my experience. I paid £750 for Sonny to install my brand new bifold doors and within a WEEK they had already failed. I then had to pay a further £100 for him to come back and investigate, only to be incorrectly told the problem was the rail, even though it was brand new. I contacted the door supplier under the warranty and, after inspecting the doors, their written report confirmed that the doors had NOT been installed according to the installation instructions and that the problems were caused by installation errors, not the hardware. Sonny came back to make adjustments and gave his word that if the same problem happened again, he would return and fix it. Three months later, the doors broke down with same issue, but he refused to come back and properly rectify it. I tried to resolve the matter with him and he agreed to pay me a settlement figure, but only on the condition that I signed an agreement which prevented me from writing a review or making public comments about my experience with the company. I wasn't willing to agree to that. I've paid £850 in total and I'm still left with doors that need remedial work. Very disappointing experience and, based on what I've gone through, I would advice people to AVOID and use a more reliable supplier. I will be posting a link to the page that shows images of the poor work that was done.

We recently completed a loft conversion with this company and couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very first consultation through to the final handover, the entire process was smooth, professional, and well-organised. The team was knowledgeable and took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, offering helpful suggestions along the way without ever being pushy. Communication was excellent throughout the project—we were kept informed at every stage, and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. The quality of workmanship is outstanding. Every detail has been finished to a high standard, and it’s clear they take real pride in their work. The project was completed on time and within the agreed budget, which is something we really appreciated. What stood out most was how respectful and tidy the team was while working in our home. They made a real effort to minimise disruption and kept the space clean and organised throughout. Our new loft space has completely transformed our home, adding both value and functionality. We would highly recommend these guys especially Sonny to anyone considering a loft conversion—they are reliable, skilled, and genuinely care about delivering a great result.
