  Disgraceful Customer Service & Terrible Staff Attitude Never Coming Back I have been a loyal customer of CeX for a very long time, frequently making purchases myself and recommending the store to family and friends. After today's appalling experience, I will never set foot in a CeX store again. I paid for a soundbar graded as Grade B. By CeX’s own rules, Grade B items are supposed to come with all essential accessories. Once paid for, the staff revealed the unit was missing both the remote control and the mounting feet. When I raised this, the store supervisor dismissively told me I "could just use it without a remote." I explained that if it was missing key parts, it shouldn't be priced at Grade B, and if it were priced down to Grade C, I’d gladly take it and buy a remote separately. His response was incredibly rude, telling me he wouldn't do anything and to "just take a refund." It gets worse. Rather than processing a £100 refund, the staff member behind the counter charged my card another £100 by mistake. I only noticed as I was walking out of the store. When I immediately went back in, not a single person apologized for charging me twice. Instead, they scrutinised my receipts repeatedly as if I was the one who had made a mistake. They then claimed they couldn't issue a refund to my original payment method without a physical card present. The supervisor refused to resolve their own error on the spot and told me I had to go home and come back with the physical card. The store officially closed at 7:00 PM, but he told me I had until 7:30 PM to return while they were still inside, threatening that otherwise he was "out the door" as if fixing their own £200 error was an inconvenience to him. I was forced to rush home and return after hours, where they had to unlock the shutters to let me in just to give me my own money back. When the refund was finally processed, neither the supervisor nor the cashier offered a single apology for double-charging me, misgrading their stock, or forcing me to make a second trip after closing time. Management needs to retrain this team on basic customer service, professional accountability, and accurate grading. Completely unacceptable behavior toward a long-standing customer.

  Waste of time! Waited an hour for them to check my computer i was selling was working okay to be told it doesn't work and when plugged in just shows a fuzzy screen. Got home tested it it works fine. They must have something wrong with there monitor of hdmi cable. I did ask if they swapped the hdmi cable or tried another monitor and they said yes. Clearly they didn't Won't be using this store again.
