I personally have been on the receiving end of some not quite so good customer service but that was years ago. I recently took a PS5 with extras in to trade for in store vouchers. I used their "drop and go" service online which is very easy to use. Arrived in store with my goods to trade and handed it over. They checked a few items like the controller there and then. My Dualbsense edge controller was slightly downgraded but was explained to me and shown why which I was fine with. I asked them if they were still really strict with console condition and they were honest with saying it has to be decent but they accept it's a used device so the odd mark is fine. I left it with them to do their testing and was told they'd phone me if anything came up A few hours later I received a call saying everything is fine apart from I listed my headset as the wrong model which was my mistake and it changed the quoted price by a few quid. No problem. Half hour later I received my vouchers via email and promptly ordered a Series X via online as Lincoln didn't have one available. Staff were friendly and informative. Decent bunch of lads. I'll definitely be using them more if it stays this way as I was very happy with my experience. Thank you.
- BBBazza BannanAug 15, 20261.0Went there to sell my 3ds there were nothing wrong with it my dad works for a shop that fixes consoles so I got him to test it to see if it was all good before I sold it so I went to cex to sell it and they said come back at about 3pm so we came back around then and they gave me my 3ds back and said there were a virus on it so they wouldn’t buy it and they took my charger for it so I couldn’t sell it no where else I’ve left 1 star thanks very much
