  Went into Beaumont leys CEX was looking for a TV as Tesco wasn’t offering any decent models at good prices, saw this Samsung and it was the only one they had but wow it’s perfect, thank you so much! (They also helped me take it to the car, excellent service)!

  Absoloute shambles, bought phone to click and collect, advertised as unlocked, was sim locked, they didn't even test it, then failed to remove my google account until I asked to see it the phone, would avoid this store, did refund but had to waste time and money going back to store.

  Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. 5 year warranty on the phone. Good conditions used phone, bought for my sister. The Beaumont Leys shopping centre near Leicester also has free parking for 4 hours.

  I have encountered a series of unsatisfactory experiences in my recent attempts to acquire a PlayStation 2 controller. My initial visit to the Loughborough store resulted in the purchase of a faulty controller, despite assurances of prior testing before leaving. Subsequently, I returned the item to the Melton store, which was more conveniently located. Despite the clear defect, I experienced a 30-minute delay while the fault was confirmed, a process that took me mere seconds to identify. I was then offered a Grade B controller in poor condition as a replacement, which I declined, opting instead for a refund. My third attempt at this store also proved unsuccessful. Despite repeated assurances that the product had been thoroughly tested and was fully functional, the controller I purchased was again completely unresponsive once at home. Due to my significant frustration with these repeated issues, I delegated the return of this item to my partner, as I felt unable to maintain a professional demeanor during a fourth visit. My experience has been characterized by misinformation, wasted time, unnecessary travel, delayed refunds, and a complete lack of apologies. The final return was processed at the Grantham store. CEX purports to offer trust, exceptional customer service, thoroughly tested products, and a seamless warranty, which justified the premium I paid. However, my experience has fallen far short of these stated values. On two separate occasions, I received only one of the four promised benefits, and even the warranty process was highly inefficient, requiring a 30-minute wait each time to address an issue that should have been identified during initial testing. It appears that while there was ample time for forensic examination during a return, the initial product testing was inadequate. Ultimately, I sourced a fully functional, A-grade controller from eBay, which was delivered directly to my home at £8 less. Consequently, I will no longer be utilizing any of your retail locations and I urge others to ask for a product to be seen working before you leave the store with it!
