First time we've been, brilliant place! Loads of fresh and frozen produce without the garbage they put in supermarket food! We went for folic acid free floud and they do stock it. Def going again!

Went on Tues 11th Aug at midday. We have been before, and loved it, so ordered our meals. After 30 minutes our food still hadn't arrived and others who came after us were being served, so we asked where ours was. It arrived 10 minutes later. I've previously had chilli con carne and it was delicious. This was different and in a large "edible basket" placed on top of the rice. This basket added nothing to the dish, and the meat was, sadly, very dry. Even the sour cream was solid?? I had to scrape the meat out onto the rice and left the "basket" on the plate after I had eaten. Will go again but won't have the chilli IF it is in a basket. My friend had the quiche with new potatoes which was fine.
I love this farm shop, the produce is amazing, both the fresh and the variety of frozen items they do. It is a bit more expensive but for the quality, and the fact it's local sourced and supports a local farm, it's well worth it.

Great fresh produce and great value for money.
Called in here for convenience rather than going to a big supermarket. We've driven past it many times and wondered if it's any good. I was underwhelmed to be honest - I guess it's pretty standard as farm shops go, but just didn't have the atmosphere that you get at places like Malt Kiln Farm. I don't know if they had too many staff on, but they just seemed to keep getting in the way and I cut my browsing short as it was getting so frustrating! Prices are standard to expensive for this kind of place. I didn't use the café but it looked quite busy and the car park was fairly full so it's obviously a popular place.
One thing I would say is that the bread rolls, flapjack and strawberries I paid way too much for were not good - rolls were dry, and impossible to spread even soft butter on, flapjack was lacking in oats and the strawberries were tasteless and hard despite looking ripe and tempting. Not a patch on the ones we picked ourselves a couple of weeks before. The only good thing out of the 4 items I bought was the Walkers Pork Pie. But then a good farm shop would have made its own.
Unlikely to return, better places nearby.
