  The good - interesting place, antiques, book cases, artwork, display cabinets and other interesting pieces...really quirky. Bar lady was very friendly and knowledgeable. Lydia is great, a real asset to the business, the other waitress (whose name we didn't get) is great too. The food was tasty, on the whole, good menu selection. Less good - the restaurant mangeress was a bit unwelcoming to begin with, then seemed to be a bit too controlling of her staff, who would have been more efficient if they weren't required to check in with her all the time. The chips were undercooked, which let down what was otherwise good food. The pork main was small. The bread and butter pudding was ok. Overall, it is worth a visit but, book in advance and allow yourself plenty of time for the unnecessarily slow service.

  Enjoyed a very nice Sunday lunch here. Great welcome, service, food and ambience. I wish I lived in Breedon. I'd definitely be a regular!

  First time visiting with a group of 6. What a find, from first going in, the staff were friendly and didn't leave us waiting. You didn't feel rushed. Not a large menu but enough choice for all. The food was outstanding and enjoyed by all. Good choice of drinks. Would highly recommend and would call when in the area again.

  I've been here a few times for lunch courtesy of the lady I care for. Its awesome! The food is great, and the pork crackling is beyond divine! Desserts r always delish!
