  Unfortunately a very mixed experience. Bought a MacBook Air 15" Grade B for £810, picked it up and realised when we got home that actually it was the 13" model which CeX sell for £725. Travelled all the way back to the store to be told it needed to be warranty tested even though it was very clear it was the wrong item. 35 minutes later I get told I'll get a refund (bare minimum they legally have to do) and that was it. No apologise or anything even though I'd travelled over 90 miles at this point to get back to the store. Will start shopping elsewhere as a result now.

  I ordered a £500 laptop online from another branch, which arrived faulty. When I brought it into store, I was told they would not attempt any repair and that a refund was the only option. This makes the advertised 5-year warranty feel misleading, as there was no attempt to resolve the fault beyond immediately refunding the item. Separately, my partner purchased an Xbox Series S from this same store, but was given an incorrect older-generation controller. This was only discovered after leaving the store. Both experiences suggest a lack of attention to detail and inconsistent checks before items are sold and make you feel as though you are only being used for your money and not a valued customer. For a business selling used electronics at this price point, that level of oversight is not acceptable.

  Would have given a 5 as the young man that served was really helpful and polite, that cannot be said for the young woman with blondish hair who was quite rude in the way she spoke
