I visited Windscreen Services at their shop in Bradford to replace smashed rear quarter glass. I had received a quote on the phone two days prior and booked my car in. I watched the father-son duo remove the remnants of the old window and fit the new one carefully. It took about 20 minutes, and I was advised not to drive the car for a further 30 minutes. Overall the team was friendly, communication and workmanship were good, and the cost very reasonable.

Came in for what should have been a simple job — attaching a windscreen mirror to the windscreen. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed with the chap who I think was the boss. It’s not about the money; it’s about principle, honesty and keeping your word. What was agreed initially was not honoured, and I ultimately felt that the situation was taken advantage of. I was actually more than happy to recommend this business to friends, family and others, as I genuinely like supporting local businesses. But when trust is broken, it naturally makes you question whether the same approach could be taken with other customers. A good local business is built on trust and reputation. Sometimes it’s not about what you can charge someone — it’s about doing what you said you would do.

What a fantastic service! Changed the smart windscreen on my Volvo XC40 this morning. Came out to my house and did the job on my drive. Two chaps, nice and friendly and very efficient. 18 minutes to change my windscreen from start to finish. Just waiting a second visit to calibrate it, but what a service.
