  The worst customer service ever. the staff are rude and patronising, have been a customer for years but will never return to this store. A gentleman with glasses behind the counter is the worst sales advisor i have ever encountered, he really needs customer service training. I feel sorry for anyone who has the misfortune to deal with him. Condescending and extremely rude

  I visit this store occasionally to browse and buy games. On this visit (01/04/2026), I was with my partner and purchased a few items, including a 16+ game. I was asked for ID, which initially surprised me, but I understand this is due to Challenge 25 policies. While this was happening, my partner asked why ID was needed for a 16+ game, and I jokingly said, “They think I’m under 16.” This was clearly meant as light humour. However, the staff member immediately responded with a noticeably serious and slightly abrupt tone, explaining Challenge 25 in a way that felt more like a reprimand than a normal explanation. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this interaction stood out. I understand and respect the legal requirements around age checks, but the way it was communicated felt unnecessarily tense and slightly patronising. There was no need for the situation to escalate in tone when it was clearly a harmless comment. I appreciate that retail can be stressful, but customers shouldn’t feel like they’re being spoken down to for trying to have a light moment. A calmer, friendlier explanation, even just with a small smile, would have made a big difference. In the end, I got my games but the visit was not how it usually feels. Warm and welcoming. Overall, I’ll still visit the store, but I hope staff can be a bit more mindful of how they communicate with customers.

  Excellent service. Friendly staff. Had a small issue with a game I bought and they sorted it straight away. Can't fault them at all

  I have been coming here for years popping in and out when I pass by and seen what I wanted to get my bf a PS5 with some games for his birthday two days later the PS5 started playing up and would not come on then the controller started playing moves backwards and forwards on it’s own I went back with my receipt for nothing I couldn’t get it changed my money back nothing it will be the last time I come in here again after the loyalty I have given I even got in touch with my bank about it and I got all my money back so please check before you sell next time I’ll get it new
