  I live 240 miles away from Glasgow so all contact was made by phone and email. I was kept fully informed of what was happening throughout. I couldn't be happier with the headstone for my late Aunt and also the clean and re-erection of my grandparents headstone. Professional, friendly, lovely people who go the extra mile. would highly recommend.

  just had my mum's details added to a headstone at Sandymount and my dad's inscription re-gilded. Took a wee while to get it done but fantastic job. Stone was given a thorough clean and a new wee flower vase added. Looks smashing.

  I had an urgent personal need to replace an original family headstone so that my wife could be properly included. My first interface with this company involved their staff at Dalbeth Cemetery.. I was immediately comfortable with the duty staff in the manner in which they listened to me and understood my anxiety and what my specific requirements were, all very professional, no hard sales talk. I was issued with a detailed brochure which the staff member discussed with me at length and offered a number of recommendations based on my initial requirement comments. I placed the order and was given clear timelines for supply to installation all of which they delivered. I also had regular contact by the company owners to keep me advised of progress, they even accommodated a late additional requirement with specific advice on how best to achieve this cost effectively. Without doubt I would thoroughly recommend this company to any party requiring such a personal service

  First Class Service during very difficult times. The bereavement of our Mother in the middle of Covid 19 and the services and qulaity provided by Michael and his team was excellent. From taking our wishes, turning them into a beautiful and permanent reminder of our love was just perfect. All communications where kind and understanding. Everything that was promised was delivered. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks from a very appreciative family.

  I would highly recommend T McGowan & Sons for anyone looking to buy a headstone. Michael & Peter are two of the most decent men around. They are extremely helpful, pleasant, thoughtful, understanding & professional in all communications, from the first phone call, picking the stone, choosing your subscription, keeping you informed about the progress & finally providing you with a first class headstone. The standard of work they provided is second to none. The headstone we received was above & beyond our expectations. It really stands out in the graveyard & is a moving & fitting tribute to our loved one. If you are looking to get a headstone for your loved one then save yourself the hassle of shopping around & go straight to the best.
