  Exceptional service from start to finish. From the help and advice given in the showroom, where Stephen spent time with us going through the options and advising on the best solution, to visiting our home and measuring and advising on the options, to finally having two fireplaces and an electric fire and gas stove fitted by an extremely professional, skilled, polite, tidy and helpful team - we have had a wonderful experience with George McAlpine, and would highly recommend.

  Wonderful experience from start to finish. Knowledgeable staff on the shop floor and professional, skilled installers. Stephen was attentive and informative throughout the whole process and couldn’t do enough for us. Delighted with the finished product too, would highly recommend to anyone.

  Fantastic service right from first walking into the shop. Unable to complete the job on the first day because of a hitch, they had FIVE guys on the case first thing next morning, THIRTY miles from the showroom! Job done. Brilliant.

  Great service at a great price sums up George McAlpine. We used them years ago to instal a living flame fire in our dining room. When we embarked on a major redecoration of one of our front rooms recently we didn't hesitate to go back. As soon as we got the the showroom we were well looked after and our questions answered. Our existing fire and surround was examined the next and a very reasonable quote received that day by email as well. We were then given a date for the removal of the old fire and the making of a template etc and another date for the installation. In each case we were advised in advance of the time of arrival. In both cases the men turned up on time. The removal and making of the template took a couple of hours. The installation, including building up new bricks and chimney lining, took one day. The men were very friendly and extremely competent in carrying out the work and also met the promised time schedules. They removed the old fire and all debris and left the place very tidy. Can't recommend George McAlpine enough. Will certainly use them again.
