  What can I say about Andi? We found her when we were desperate for extra training for our mini dachshund, Frank. While he was a loving boy, he had bitten us 4 times quite badly, and it seemed to come out of nowhere (so we thought!). We were devastated and at our wits' end. From the very start, nothing was ever too much trouble for Andi. When I first got in touch, she gave us advice straight away. We implemented her suggestions while waiting for our first session, and we noticed a difference in Frank right off the bat! Andi is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviour, and we as owners have learned so much from her. After just four hours of sessions, Frank is like a different dog. He seems happier and calmer. We now understand the subtle signs he was giving us all along that we completely missed before, which we now realise were likely contributing to the aggression. Andi also gave us loads of excellent strategies around resource guarding,impulse control and recall. I haven’t regretted getting Andi’s help for a single second. If you are thinking about hiring her for your dog training needs, please do! She is absolutely amazing and her passion for dogs and helping them and their owners shines through in the work she does, trust me 🩷🩷🩷 Thanks Andi, from your buddy Frank 🐾

  We have been seeing Andi for our rescue, Rosie. Previously we thought she would never be allowed off leash freedom..due to her intense prey drive and excitement…HOWEVER!! Within 3 days under Andi’s E collar training course Rosie started her off leash life. By day 5 we had cemented her recall! Rosie is now free to live her best life, the life she deserves after such a rough start. We have Andi to thank for this major quality of life improvement. Thank you!

  Words cannot describe how thankful we are to Andi @ K9 Boot Camp. We booked the handlers boot camp for Zabs mild reactivity. It was worth every penny, 5 days of intensive, personal training, fielded in the open air of the Lobden Moors above Whitworth. Within minutes of meeting Zab, Andi recognised that she needed to change his head collar to a slip collar, instantly there was a massive difference such a small change for massive improvement to Zab’s demeanour. The training involved introducing Zab to various real life situations and addressing his behaviour correctly. He has gone from consuming 500g of meat treats at other training schools to a simple fetch ball, that ball is his world now. It seems so simple, but you have to have the knowledge and that’s exactly what Andi gives you.in abundance. Would I recommend 1,000,000%, if you don’t want serious problems developing with your fur buddy, then give Andi a call. Zab slept like a baby after ever session.

  I was recommended to use Andi by another customer and I’m glad I did. She has really helped with my reactive dog, he’s still not perfect but a lot of that is down to my anxieties. Andi has been extremely patient and her knowledge and experience shines through. I wish I could keep her with me all the time! We did E collar training and again Andi is very knowledgeable and explains everything clearly and in a no nonsense way. Would highly recommend

  And is absolutely brilliant trainer it’s obvious she loves the dogs she works with and just wants the best for them and for me that was to help my dog be off lead safely. We were at the point where we were frightened for our dog as she just wanted to chase things and so we just had her on the leed which is no life for a working gun dog. Andi walked me through and showed me step by step the training process , using so much positive reinforcement and fantastic enrichment and focus games for my dog to replace the chasing behaviour. Her support after the lessons has been great and although it’s still early days I am so much more relaxed as I know what to do to help my dog to come back to me instead of chasing, because of all the work we did on recall. I loved her no nonsense approach, she explained why we do things and helped me to understand the dogs behaviour. Both me and my dog also had so much fun. Andi also helped me with lead work for when I need my dog on the lead which has been amazing . My dog is nearly two and I have been struggling with her strong pulling for nearly a year and a half. I had tried every sort of collar and harness but with the help of Andy and the introduction to a new collar and lead( both from the k9 website) it has become a pleasure to walk her on her lead as well as off as she now knows what is expected of her and where she need to be . It is so much better for her and me. I would recommend Andy and k9 boot camp for anyone who wants their dog to be able to experience a full off lead life, there is nothing better than to see our baby running free and enjoying the experiences which she has been bred for, but know I can get her back safely when I need to. I know we’ve still got a lot of work to do but I feel reassured that Andi will be there if we need her.
