  The front counter has a sell and a buy section, with a respective queue for each area. However the queues didn't seem to be respected as everyone was instructed to use the large sell queue. With a total of about 7 or 8 staff no more than 3 of them were serving on the counter at one time. I waited a total of 35 minutes standing in a 4 person queue to purchase just 2 games. At one point there was 2 people serving, both of them serving people SELLING in the BUYING queue!

  Leaving a 5 star review for the guy in store who did a disc repair today on an old Sega Saturn game with skipping music. Works perfectly now- many thanks!

  unhelpful staff who don’t communicate important info , some staff don’t know what they’re talking about. sold me two laptops that didn’t work. had to come all the way into the store 5+ times due to miscommunication. wouldn’t recommend. staff are also not really friendly when you have an issue

  CEX has used items at used prices. Was looking at retro video game stuff, prices are reasonable in store but less attractive online as they charge individually for shipping instead of consolidating.

  They will mark down anything they can and just make up reasons not to buy from you. I don’t mean to sound prejudice in any way but the Asian man in the glasses is so condescending, fake smiles while talks to you like you’re 5 years old. I was a regular but I’m going to Salford from now on.
