- MMM6 days ago2.0Big thanks to Madison at Lord St CEX for falsely telling us an item could be exchanged at the Central CEX due to not having the desired item in stock - we wasted 45 minutes in Central just to be informed that Madison had got the policy wrong and the exchange wouldn’t be accepted. This policy is even listed on the CEX website, so the fact an employee got this wrong and it resulted in a customer not only losing out on an exchange they were told they’d get and in Madisons words would be “made easier and save time”, but also losing 45 minutes of our time was annoying. If it was a 10 minute fiasco, it wouldn’t be so irritating - but waiting close to an hour (whilst a massive queue built behind us, mind you) just to be told “yeah she got that wrong, can’t be done, sorry” left us very annoyed. The service in Lord St CEX is also always consistently slow. Multiple times we’ve had to wait 20+ minutes even at the front of the queue. I will say that other times, the staff have been decent and some are genuinely friendly. But maybe consider some retraining or reminding them of policies to prevent these situations from happening to other customers.

He just looked disinterested and tapped the top of his till to signify I should come to him I felt like being summoned as if I was a dog. Definetly human interaction improvement required.
