Long time user of there charity shop. Which is one of the best in Bolton. but I must admit that the donation service leaves a lot to the imagination. Had two items of furniture to donate sent them pictures and filled out their online form and received a phone call back saying they would like the items and arranged a pick up date. When the pick up day came the people picking it up did not want the items. which left me in a quandary as I had waited three days for collection and could have offered them to another charity if they had just said they did not want them instead they had to go to the tip as I had no more time to spare. I will still use the charity shop but would not be inclined to donate to them again after this sour experience.

Absolutely lovely people, very helpful and welcoming. Took a look through my donations and picked what was suitable and were grateful. Nice shop and cafe, overall good experience. I would recommend people to donate and shop here and help the local community. Thank you Emmaus

This is such a fabulous place to visit they sell second hand furniture and white goods, they also have a lovely cafe with wonderful home made cakes and a mini garden centre where you can purchase plants, hanging baskets etc, this is truly worth a visit as it not only has all the above but wonderful staff too ! And by visiting you have the satisfaction of helping the homeless, so definitely worth a visit ! Good work to all at Emmaus you are a credit to yourselves , Thank you 👍
