    Terrible experience. Online it looked like a 2 routers working mesh (ethernet capped at 100Mb) could be worth £22 and I wanted to get rid of it, I went to the store where I was first told both were worth £8. I pushed back and the man working there told me he seen it wrong. It was £8 for each, so £16 but they need an hour to test them. I thought... I don't care about £5 or £6, so I came back an hour later. It was not tested yet, so they asked me to come back later. About 30 minutes later, the person doing the test was not able to have them connecting, so they were offering £8 for just one of the routers. I came away with both. This shop also has nothing worth buying. Probably great to sell stolen phones (there were some odd characters in the store, selling stuff), but other than that... Really best to avoid. EDIT: I completely understand that they can only buy working items. The problem is that the staff working on this store is incompetent, as others also highlight on their reviews. I am obviously not going speak with their support team because they would fail again the routers (that are working, just to defend their co-workers)

    It's sad that Cex workers keep proving the game stop employee stereotypes right. Staff are extremely rude and passive aggressive, unhelpful and weirdly don't know anything about what they are selling. I came in asked the worker at the till how his day was going and got nothing in return but "what can I do" with an aggressive tone. I asked him if he could provide me any information about the year of production or the serial number of their Nintendo switch (naturally I would want to know if the switch I am buying is from 2017 or a newer version from 2019, they are different) All I got in response was "No, I don't know" and an awkward stare. If I was to buy it, I'd essentially be getting it with so much lack of information about the switch. I mean it's simply even written on the switch the serial number which tells you what year version it is, just got rudeness from the worker and zero help. Train your staff properly, it seems I am not the only person who dealt with this, if you are working at Cex, you shpuld know about what you sell to your customers, simple.

    So you guys made the system so we can't reply in the comments so i have to write from another account so the thing is the phone is exactly how I bought it no scratches no marks nothing almost brand new he didn't even inspected the phone he didn't open the phone so he can say the screen it's been damaged he just saw the phone in hand and decided it's ben damaged inside by my fault and they made me go to apple and remove my iCloud from the phone and still they didn't do anything at all they will do everything thing so they don't go by the warranty so basically the warranty it's for nothing the worst experience ever

    Terrible experience with CEX. I sent my phone in under warranty because the screen kept stopping working, but they refused to fix it. They claimed I had dropped it just because the screen protector had a slight scratch, which is ridiculous. It felt like they were just making excuses to avoid honouring the warranty. Staff were rude, dismissive, and no help at all.”
