  I’m not one to ever leave bad reviews, but from my experience using BDK accountants I feel obligated to warn others. I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received. My tax return was not submitted on time, despite me providing all the required documents well in advance. This has caused unnecessary stress and even penalties that could have easily been avoided. What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication throughout the process. I had to repeatedly chase for updates, and even then, responses were basically non-existent. At no point was I proactively informed about delays or issues. I was then passed to Dharsh who again 9/10 didn’t answer my emails and I couldn’t even reach him through the phone most days when I was chasing him up to sort the fine out like he said he would. He then proceeded to say he didn’t receive my emails even after his colleague I spoke to the day before confirmed he got my emails and is going through them and will get back to me asap? (Which he never did) The £100 fine was due 26/3/26 at 11:59pm which after calling 4 times today it was finally paid 17:30pm (when office closes) and even then he didn’t even talk to me on the phone after to apologise for everything I’ve been put through. Overall, this experience has been highly unprofessional and unreliable. I expected a basic level of accountability and transparency, but unfortunately, neither was delivered. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for timely and dependable tax assistance.

  T Burton & Co are a brilliant accountancy firm. We switched to them 2 years ago after our previous accountants made several errors with our year end accounts, which T Burton & Co identified and helped to rectify. In addition, T Burton & Co are very reasonably priced and we saved a huge amount in fees by switching to them. T Burton & Co have given us great advice, helped with tax planning and even changed our shareholding structure which has proven very beneficial. Their friendly approach and way of explaining in Lehmans terms makes the ins and outs of tax/accountancy so much easier to understand. We’re now able to make better informed decisions. Furthermore, they are always on hand to help and very responsive to the day to day queries. We have already recommended T Burton & Co to other clients and will continue to do so!

  We switched to T Burton about 12 months ago after finding our previous accountants were very slow to respond and not at all proactive. Since moving we have been very impressed with the service, Toby our account manager has been great, always quick to respond to any question (even the more unusual ones that sometimes come up), very helpful and proactive in planning tax efficiency for us and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone business or self employed person looking for a new accountant. Many thanks James
