  Friendly well intentioned team. Took 1 week for an MOT. Very poor communication. Did not call, had to call them. Did not run through the problems, suggest solutions, ask if I was happy to proceed or discuss cost. Eventually got some clear answers. Would not recommend.

  Was quoted £387 for brake discs and pads. When I went to collect, I was told only the pads were done (no discs) and was charged £300! This included a £30+ charge for a new wheel nut locking key, when there was already one in the car! Regarding the WNLK, I was ordered "show me where in that car the wheel nut locking key is" I then had two members of staff watch me produce it from the car, when I did, they shrugged and still charged me £30+. I had wanted to support a local, independent garage (Paid them over £700 in Dec for a catalytic converter) but, I don't feel good about my last experience. I paid £300 for brake pads and had to 'prove myself in the process. Tonbridge garage is no longer recommended by me.
