  Bought in a monitor and a keyboard to either trade or cash. Monitor was dusty as had been sitting unused for at least 6 months. They did point out a crack in the stand which we were not aware of which was fine. They then tried to test the monitor without plugging anything into the hdmi port. Obviously nothing is going to work if there is no input source detected. They then told us the lcd in the monitor had gone and proceeded to press the screen really hard towards the back of the monitor saying that it is broken as image was flashing. Then refused to take the monitor. They struggled with testing the keyboard aswell as it had 2 usbs on the lead. They had no idea what the second one was for. There was also a comment made about why my son wasn’t dealing with the transaction. I informed them he had autism and found conversing with people he doesn’t know uncomfortable. I then got a response saying that the cashier didn’t like talking to people but he works there so he has to and if everybody didn’t like talking to people then it would be a strange world. It felt like he was insulting my son and the fact he doesn’t like dealing with people. This response is the exact reason why he doesn’t like too. I feel like it was very uncalled for. Really unhappy about the treatment from staff and their lack of knowledge of the products that they are testing. We got home plugged in the monitor and it all worked instantly. No problems with the monitor at all

  Went to this store specifically because the web said they had Project Hail Mary on Blu-ray. Staff were super helpful, as ever, but no PHM in stock! But I picked up half-a-dozen other movies that are on my wishlist, so not an entirely wasted journey.

  Extremely friendly staff. Whilst in store I witnessed several customers speak rudely and treat the staff poorly yet they were responded to with patience and professionalism. I was the next customer and apologised that they had to deal with that kind of behaviour. Not only were they grateful for my apology but they went above and beyond for me. The staff are human beings and should be treated with respect and given that a tiny bit of humanity was appreciated I wonder if they are treated poorly more often than not. I have always had a great experience in this store and have found the staff helpful and friendly.
