  We cannot recommend Becky highly enough. The progress our 7-year-old has made has been truly remarkable. Before starting tuition, reading was a real challenge, but thanks to her patience, encouragement, and engaging teaching style, our child has grown in both ability and confidence. More importantly she has made learning to read fun rather than overwhelming and we have seen a seen a huge difference in his fluency and comprehension.

  Sally the reading doctor in Barry is excellent! My daughter has only attended 4 lessons every other week with Sally and then went up a reading level. She has given gabby the enjoyment of books back and has given her so much confidence in herself I can not recommend her enough. Apart from the improvement in reading level I personally feel like Sally genuinely cares about her pupils. It has been so lovely to see gabby flourish from her lessons.

  My son started with Maeve with an incredibly poor understanding of phonics and blending sounds. He has learning difficulties as well as diagnosis of Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia. His anxiety around reading was very high and he would avoid it all all costs. Now he is a different boy! He loves going to see Maeve and his reading has improved no end. Reading has opened up so much to him and his confidence because of this has soared. I can't recommend Maeve and the Reading Doctor intervention enough. My son actually chooses to read now!

  I highly recommend Maeve. My daughter always looks forward to her sessions. She has dyslexia and autism. Maeve has been working with my daughter for the past 3 years. During that time, she has grown significantly in confidence and has made excellent progress. Maeve is patient, understanding, and tailors her approach to meet my daughter’s individual needs. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact she has had on her learning and self-esteem.
