  One of the worst CeX I’ve ever been to generally half of the staff can’t be arsed to do anything. I went to to sell some bits as like some people do wanted to sell two items not a crazy amount a controller and a fire stick and they said to me needs to be tested what’s perfectly fine with me in my normal local CeX they normally say come about half an hour we’ll get that stuff sorted they told me an hour and 30 minutes already a joke burning mind. The shop itself was not busy and when I signed the receipt for them to test my controller on fire stick I was about to leave the store just wanted to doublecheck the time that I had to be back I got ignored by one staff member the one who served me and then another staff member finally chimed in and said 3:30 so I went to go do bits around town for a bit then he gets back to about 3:30 so I head back in the store and I speak to this one night employee while we had a little bit of a chat kind of nice guy but he told me to come back within 10 minutes burning mind they’ve had an hour and a half to do this so I’ll come back in 10 minutes whatever is what it is I speak to the same guy and he’s like give me a minute because they still need to check off the last item of what was the fire stick in the end my controller they didn’t take because the USB was loose on the top of the controller was perfectly fine but you’re telling me it took them about two hours to test the fire stick what is a complete joke and the guy who told me the time finding out to be the manager and if you’re reading this, your store does not come off friendly at all everyone they’r seemed in a grumpy mood except from the guy who was speaking to when he told me to come back in 10 minutes That guy was nice, happy till, but you also looked very pissed off with me. Do not know why you kept giving me grump looks through the testing room when I was waiting to be solved and every time I glanced over you you were just staring at me really pissed off like C ex is meant to be a fairly friendly place where everyone feel safe and happy but not this sore so anyone else reading this do not come here Because the store is just very lazy and rude

  Don't sell hardware here. Took them over 3 days to process my order because I wanted some of it in voucher and the rest in cash, which I explained when it was booked in and was on my drop and go

  The shop assistant was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I only popped in on the offchance, when I was passing by, to see if they had a laptop charger. He listened to what I needed (I'd accidentally cut through the wire trying to repair it) and found the perfect replacement. Not only did it fit my laptop but it came with about 6 adapters so I can charge other items. Extremely happy with the service at cex.

  Good shop and friendly staff, but have sold me a headset for a ps5 that absolutely stinks of cigarettes and the mic don’t work properly
