  Staff very rude. Just wanted to buy an AirTag, got passed to 3 members of staff. Made a meal out of a simple transaction.

  I came here last week as my MacBook Air was broken and had stopped charging. Unfortunately as it’s ‘obsolete’ according to Apple because it’s quite an old model the staff member helping me (I can’t remember his name) couldn’t order new parts, however he identified what might be the problem and encouraged me to try and fix it myself. He told me exactly which piece I needed to buy. The parts arrived and I managed to do it and my laptop is fixed (charging again!) thank you so much!

  And I quote “yeah you can transfer your esim over to your other phone while we repair this one”… I said I reckon this is going to cause my a problem to the “genius” no, it’ll be fine… proceeds to start the transfer. “Oh, it didn’t work”. I don’t take a wallet out with me anymore, I don’t carry ID… I very rarely need it and only carry it when I do. So here’s the scenario. Stood in the Apple Store in Bromley, no phone, no way to get my sim, don’t know the area at all and need to find my way home. After speaking to my network provider it turns out it’s my VPN that caused the transfer issue on the eSIM… that’s fair enough. But shouldn’t a “genius” think to check beforehand? Genuinely left me in a difficult position. £79 to have a replacement phone sent to your house, £25 if you want to go in store and they change the glass there and then. Now I’ve wasted 2 hours travel, takes 2 hours to carry out the repair… did I save anything? Definitely not. Never will I go in store for a repair again.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Apple Store in Bromley. This was, without question, the worst customer service I have ever received from any Apple Store. The staff showed a complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and accountability. Rather than listening to my concerns or trying to resolve the issue, I felt dismissed and treated as though my time and loyalty as an Apple customer meant nothing. What is most concerning is the apparent lack of ownership by management. Instead of taking responsibility or attempting to find a reasonable solution, I was left frustrated, ignored, and without confidence that customer satisfaction is a priority at this store. Apple has built its reputation on premium products and exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, the Bromley store falls far below that standard. If this is the level of service being delivered, senior management needs to investigate what is happening at this location. I sincerely hope someone from Apple Retail Leadership reviews this feedback because customers deserve far better than the experience I received. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend the Bromley Apple Store to anyone.
