TechCentre repaired my old Playstation 2 Slim console after it got very noisy and started shutting down due to overheating. I dropped it off at CEX in Stevenage town centre, and it came back repaired in less than a week. It's still a bit noisy but the overheating issue seems to have been fixed. Overall I was very happy with the service. I liked being able to drop the console off in the CEX shop in Stevenage and collect it there again, rather than trusting a random courier company with it. I also liked that I didn't have to pay anything up front, and was only charged when the repair was complete. I got texts and emails to keep me updated on progress throughout. It's difficult to know who to trust to repair your tech, particularly retro tech which is getting a bit delicate, but Tech Centre did a great job and I would 100% use them again.

So far it's been a simple process, i think good value for price, got out of the repair better than having to buy a new controller. Appreciate the easy method of just dropping stuff off at a Cex and then come back for collection. Payment only taken if fix was possible. Considering bringing my old Nintendo DS in as well for its faulty screen. Great service all over, and continuous updates on progress.
