  Visited about a week ago with two broken PlayStation controllers (one original, one warranty replacement). Was pleasantly surprised to learn about their 5-year warranty! ​The team tested them in just 20 minutes and replaced both on the spot. Fantastic service! The lead staff member was super friendly, approachable, and great at training a new colleague. Wonderful atmosphere in the shop. ​Definitely gained a loyal customer. Wishing the team all the best!

  Had a terrible experience at this store , a few issues with my visit mainly the acting manager(so she said) tattooed girl Completely rude and obnoxious absolute know it all, stinking attitude 1. The Tattooed acting manager extremely poor customer service 2. Ps5 Stand advertised with the PS5 then tried charging me additional £12 for it, Explained my rights under the consumer rights 2015 and any product advertised should be sold as advertised, None of the uneducated staff had A clue what I was going on about 3. The items I sold them were in immaculate brand-new condition And they sold me a reasonably poor condition PS5 didn’t check it over in the store as I trust CEX And after the unpleasant experience with the manager, I just wanted to get home ps5 has quite severe dust/fluff in the fan, HDMI port seems slightly wobbly. Only one end of the HDMI lead goes into the console not sure why this is. 4. No USB controller cable The tattooed girl made my experience at the store very unpleasant,the staff member that served me was reasonably polite. The other girl on the till with blue hair was also a bit like the manager bit of a know it all but didn’t really know much. I tried educating them on the consumers rights act that The PS5 being advertised in the Saint Albans store with the stand should be sold as advertised. They told me I was wrong.none of them had a clue the manager I think she would struggle to run a bath let alone a Computer exchange , Having staff like this definitely is Negative for the store and would make customers not return My main point of complaint is the the manager tattooedgirl for the store to progress I would strongly advise she is removed from her position,the PS5 is advertised with the stand, I showed them a print out and a screenshot Of the consol with the stand for £415 in the Saint Alban store, Explain the consumers rights 2015 still Didn’t get anywhere the stand was only £12, But it is the principle ,the stand was in the glass cabinet in front of my ps5 I explained multiple times to the staff that under the consumer rights act 2015, under UK consumer law, goods must match their description ("as described") none of the staff had a clue what I was going on even after showing them the printout, they still wouldn’t give it to me hence why I am making this complaint, If they would’ve done the right thing and give me the Stand, I wouldn’t of complained about the unprofessional manager Tattooed girl I would’ve just taken it as a bad experience And kept it to myself , I look forward to hearing back from someone with a bit more knowledge than the uneducated staff in the Saint Albans store I’ve attached photos of the Advertised PS5 with the stand and photos of the very dusty/fluffy fan ,Casing is also Slightly loose /got some play in it were the Triangle circle cross square are on the bottom of the casing

  The worst customer service going! Staff with attitude, 3 times went back to shop due to there incompetence, most games dont work, ps4 didn't work , will not be returning to this cex will go else where as this shop a con !!!
