I went to have my eyes tested at Eyes on St Albans and it was the best examination I have ever had! A level of professional care that is exceptional. The equipment is spot on and such attention to detail. Afterwards Jez Levy known affectionately as The Mighty King of Eyewear styled me with a stonkingly fabulous pair of frames and sorted out the lenses and measurements for varifocals!! It’s surprising how a new pair of frames changes your world literally!! At least I’ll be able to see better now as well with my updated prescription. Don’t be frightened to pop in and say hello and have a mooch at his fantastic range of glasses! Everyone is really friendly too!!

One of the best eye examinations I have ever had followed by a personal tour through Jez’s unique selection of frames. He nailed it straight away and decided on a Ransome & Jenkin frame with a blue pre-tint and transitions (the ones that go darker in sunlight) varifocals. Fabulous service. Fabulous frames. Fabulous lenses. He is the king of eyewear.

Went there to try some enchroma glasses. Jez was very knowledgeable and patient whilst I decided if they were right for me.

I had an issue with my glasses while I was in the area and, as I’m visiting from abroad, I really needed them fixed quickly. The service was absolutely wonderful, they were so kind, patient and helpful, and fixed my glasses perfectly in no time. Best of all, there was no additional charge. I’m so grateful for the excellent service and for making everything so easy. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

We were visiting St Albans from New Zealand and stumbled across this cool shop. The owner is very friendly and his glasses cleaner is better than anything on the market. Thank you. Will definitely check back in next time we're in the UK.
