  Bunch of racists, the only store ever to ask me for id to sell a ps5 game even tho ive had an account for 10 years. I said to the guy I have photo id on my phone and he still said no. Drove to St Albans after and they treaded in my game no questions, I’ve never been treated this way in England and never thought.

  Don’t trust them when they say it has a five year warrant. Bought a laptop from them six months ago. Suddenly stopped working take it back to them and they wouldn’t warranty it as they said there was water damage when there was no water damage. A I had the laptop checked at another retailer and they confirmed there is no water damage so again it’s a big retailer trying to get out of paying for something

  Very disappointing experience at CEX Hatfield. Tried to sell genuine AirPods Pro 2nd Gen. A technician immediately labelled them “FAKE” in a rude, judgmental way, refused to verify the serial number or Apple warranty, and claimed “nobody knows better than me.” Apple Support and the Apple Store later confirmed they were 100% genuine and explained that logo, symbol, and serial number alignment can differ across USA/UK, India, and China variants. While some customer assistants were polite and helpful, their good service was completely overshadowed by the technician’s rudeness and lack of professionalism. I sold the same AirPods at CEX Watford, where staff were professional and knowledgeable. Would not recommend Hatfield store.

  Make sure if you buy a phone from these simple people they show you it's unlocked. Otherwise you'll end up like me wasting a day of your own time. And just getting a simple apologie by their online customer service and being asked to return the item waste more of your own time seems it's just common customer service nowadays. Little tip if the game is not at least a year old check online 95% of the time you can get a new sealed game cheaper or same price as they sell second hand new games . It can be a good shop cex but remember it makes its money off other people's belongings. Iam sure IAM going to get a reply something on the basis were sorry but it's not are fault as a company. Looking forward to that 😅
